Charlie Crist Not Buying GOP’s ACORN-ophobia

In case you didn't have a reason to NOT vote for Charlie Crist as RINO Senator of Florida, maybe this will help. This kind of so called Republican is what's ruining the party, and he has to go.

Marco Rubio is a shining light with solid conservative principles.  His following does not compare to that of Crist, but hopefully that will change in the months ahead.

That headline is not mine. That is from the St. Petersburg Times in Florida. Of course, it is from last year, but it is indicative of Governor Charlie Crist’s problem.

Charlie Crist got in bed with ACORN a while back and he’s turned a blind eye to all their shenanigans. Back in 2008, the Republican Party was laying out the evidence of ACORN organized voter fraud in Florida and not only did Charlie Crist do nothing, but he went on the offense against the Republican Party saying they were making a mountain out of a molehill.

At the same time in 2008, Charlie Crist partnered with ACORN.

Florida Gov. Charlie Crist, for example, partnered with ACORN in March 2008 for a “Homeownership Promotes The Economy” taskforce. More recently, Crist declared that — contrary to GOP outrage — he was not upset with the group’s voter registration efforts in his state. The New York Times reported that ACORN supported a law signed by Governor Crist, which “changed the rules last year to restore the voting rights of about 112,000 former convicts.”

Were man-organization marriages legal in Florida, Charlie Crist would be married to ACORN right now, he’s been in bed with them so much.

And now? Crist is again keeping his mouth shut, refusing to question ACORN despite all the evidence against it. But there is a growing problem for him. In a letter to Governor Crist from Marco Rubio, Speaker Rubio points out:

just last week the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office announced that arrest warrants were issued for 11 former ACORN employees accused of faking voter registration cards. While it is commendable that ACORN assisted in the investigations that led to the arrests, it begs the question: why were so many people capable of these crimes working for ACORN in the first place?

If Crist cannot exercise good judgment in his appointments, see e.g. George LeMieux, and he cannot exercise good judgment in his associations, exactly what good is he going to be for the people of Florida in the United States Senate?

In the effort to maintain the principles of the Republican party, a focus needs to be made on the RINOs (Republicans In Name Only). If conservatives are to be successful, they need a full house cleaning of Republicans who support Barack Obama.

Behold Florida’s new Senator. He is Charlie Crist’s errand boy.

George LeMieux is undecided on government run healthcare and he supports Barack Obama’s stimulus plan. He has taken his first act as a Senator: he blocked a plan to allow drilling off the Florida coast.

Charlie Crist’s errand boy continues doing Charlie’s errands. Do we want LeMieux’s keeper in the Senate?

Heck no. Support Marco Rubio.

FL Senator LeMieux TO THE LEFT of Pelosi (Joe Wilson)

Florida Senator Mel Martinez resigned early, and George LeMieux was appointed by his former boss, Florida Govenor Crist to replace the senator. Keep in mind -- LeMieux is a Republican, and Crist is a Republican. These guys are perfect examples of RINOs, and what is drastically wrong with the Republican party. Keep these moderates out of the Republican party. Floridians must support Marco Rubio for senator, a true conservative

They have completely watered down the Republican party to the point where you wonder if it wasn't planned. Future candidates must be carefully vetted, not by their words, but by the history of their actions. Politicians have a history of deceit, but this is getting ridiculous.

This is just stunning.

The Speaker of the United States House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), has shut down Democrat efforts to punish Joe Wilson (R-SC) for yelling at Barack Obama during Obama’s speech to Congress.

George LeMieux, Charlie Crist’s errand boy and the newest Republican Senator, is calling for Joe Wilson to be censured. That puts Charlie Crist’s errand boy to the left of Nancy Pelosi.

LeMieux remains undecided on government run health care, supports cap and trade, and supports the President’s big spending agenda.

George LeMieux says he is “a Charlie Crist Republican.” What we are learning about Charlie Crist Republicans is that they are not Republicans at all, just placeholders for a left wing agenda.

We must say no. We must support Marco Rubio.
