OBAMA O-LOSER OLYMPICS - "SCALE OF DEFEAT IS A BOMBSHELL" O-HUMILIATED

Ooops!

The Joker flew himself and his entourage to Denmark to grace them with his presence. They were not impressed. It didn't work! It didn't work at the humongous expense to fragile American taxpayers.

Another example of government's reckless decisions -- and they want more control.  Another example of the narcissism of this man, but a great day for taxpayers who would have to bear the burden of the overspend while corruption reigns.

The world is onto the fraud. They wanted America to fall. Schadenfreude, so they hate a Bush and love O-loser.

Not only out, but first out.

But the Euros, the Ruskies, the Chinese, the jihad will give nothing, take everything and laugh at our foolishness in electing the mirror man. Afghanistan, nukes, the economy, nationalized health care, and this tool is spending millions to dash off to Denmark to have America publicly humiliated. Good job.

This loss is a defining moment for American asshattery. The good news is that the Chicago criminal gang won't get their grubby hands on all that dough.*exhale*

Obama’s Olympic failure will only add to doubts about his presidency

Barack Obama fails to make the case for Chicago to the IOC in Copenhagen

There has been a growing narrative taking hold about Barack Obama’s presidency in recent weeks: that he is loved by many, but feared by none; that he is full of lofty vision, but is actually achieving nothing with his grandiloquence.

Chicago’s dismal showing today, after Mr Obama’s personal, impassioned last-minute pitch, is a stunning humiliation for this President. It cannot be emphasised enough how this will feed the perception that on the world stage he looks good — but carries no heft.

It was only the Olympic Games, the White House will argue — not a high-stakes diplomatic gamble with North Korea. It is always worthwhile when Mr Obama sells America to the rest of the world, David Axelrod, his chief political adviser, said today. But that argument will fall on deaf ears in the US. Americans want their presidents to be winners.

Mr Obama was greeted — as usual — like a rock star by the IOC delegates in Copenhagen — then humiliated by them. Perception is reality. A narrow defeat for Chicago would have been acceptable — but the sheer scale of the defeat was a bombshell, and is a major blow for Mr Obama at a time when questions are being asked about his style of governance.

UPDATE: NRO's Michael Goldfarb on the fiasco that is Obama's "direct, presidential diplomacy"

The only international organizations more corrupt than the International Olympic Committee would have to be found at the United Nations, where President Obama also seems confident that his mere presence and his constant apologies for the behavior of the United States under President Bush will suffice to make the world more cooperative to American interests.

Nine months in and Obama has nothing to show for his presidency. The IOC—despite the combined charisma of Barack and Michelle Obama and Oprah—just nixed Chicago's bid to host the 2016 Olympics.

To paraphrase a gal I know: "For the first time in my adult life, I'm proud of the International Olympic Committee!"

Madrid = silver medal

Chicago = aluminum medal"

Top 10 Reasons Chicago Didn't Get the Olympics [Rich Lowry]

An e-mail:
10. Dead people can't vote at IOC meetings

9. Obama distracted by 25 min meeting with Gen. McChrystal

8. Who cares if Obama couldn't talk the IOC into Chicago? He'll be
able to talk Iran out of nukes.

7. The impediment is Israel still building settlements.

6. Obviously no president would have been able to acomplish it.

5. We've been quite clear and said all along that we didn't want
the Olympics.

4. This isn't about the number of Olympics "lost", it's about the
number of Olympics "saved" or "created".

3. Clearly not enough wise Latina judges on the committee

2. Because the IOC is racist.

1. It's George Bush's fault.
